Two passport photos: Pictures must be Canadian passport style, 3.5cmx4.5cm.

Client Information Sheet: This form should be completed in full and submitted with all visa applications.

Tourist Voucher: All tourists require a hotel voucher and confirmation. This can be obtained through Visaconnection for $60.

Travel Itinerary: If you are traveling longer than two weeks a detailed ground itinerary is required. This may include a copy of train tickets, river cruise itinerary, or signed personal statement addressed to:

Proof of Legal Status in Canada: For non-Canadian passport holders, a copy of your Permanent Resident Card, Work or Study Permit must be submitted. Please contact our office to verify whether the original document or a photocopy is required.

Proof of non Russian citizenship: Applicants who used to be citizens of the USSR or of the Russian Federation and then emigrated from the USSR or from Russia must submit one of the following (copies accepted): previous Soviet passport, proof of nationality after 1992 (i.e. Kazak passport), birth certificate. The burden of proof rests with the applicant to demonstrate they are not Russian citizens.

MANDATORY WAIT PERIOD: Please note, tourists may only enter Russia five business days after the application is submitted to the Consulate for processing.
