Business Visas

Visa is issued when the applicant travels to meet with clients, visit an office or plant location, give presentations, or to discuss future partnerships, etc. This visa is only valid if you continue to be paid by a North American company.

Work Permits

Work permits are required when you have already been offered a position of employment in another country and will be going for a long term work assignment – this permit allows you to be paid by the international company.

Temporary V (Technical Visa) Visas

Specifically for Brazil, a visa is required when the applicant will be doing technical work or providing provision of services and will be paid by the Brazilian Company. This visa can only be applied for after the host company has applied through the Ministry of Labour in Brazil and that approval has been sent to the Consulate here in Canada.
